Welcome to Cadettes Planning Committee
Registration opens 12/15/2022.
Help plan and lead an event for 5th graders to help inspire and motivate them to stay in Girl Scouts! The event will be on May 7th from 12-4:30pm at Camp Bothin.
We will meet virtually monthly on the first Thursday from 6:30-7:30pm until the event on May 7th.
At these meetings you’ll be sharing with Girl Scout staff (Program Manager, Lauren Fialkow) what made you decide to stay in Girl Scouts into Middle and High School as well as share your ideas on what kinds of fun activities we should feature at our Welcome to Cadettes event. You will get the chance to lead a workshop, activity, game, escape room, buddy/chat with a younger girl scout, or whatever you are passionate about.
Meeting dates: 2/2, 3/2, 4/6, 5/4
Event date: 5/7
These are dinner meetings so feel free to bring your dinner and eat during the meeting (or not, it’s optional).
If you can’t make all the meetings you are still welcome to be part of this group.

By participating in this committee you will get service hours for school, NHS, or your Service to Girl Scouts award. This is also a great chance to meet peers your age in Girl Scouts.
