Come one and all to the Welcome To Cadettes Extravaganza 2023!
This event at Camp Bothin is perfect for rising and new Cadettes as well as their adults and leaders too!
With fun rotations led by older girl scouts, come and find out about all the awesome opportunities that come with being an Older Girl Scout!
We’ll have opportunities to do some of your favorite Girl Scout crafts, plus some outdoors and adventure fun (like archery and the scavenger hunt hike!), and delicious snacks at our gourmet s’mores bar!
Ever thought of traveling with Girl Scouts, getting a Silver or Gold award, or becoming a camp counselor? We will have a panel discussion with older scouts who have done many of these things as well as an expo with representatives from our older Girl Scout committees and interest groups ready to answer your questions and show you how you can get involved. This will give you a chance to meet an older scout to help you navigate your experience in Cadettes and make the most of it!
This event is for adults too! The adult track is themed “Get Ready to Relax.”
Adults will:
-hear from current CSA troop leaders on how they’ve been able to empower and prepare their Girl Scouts to run their own meeting and plan their own outings.
-create their own gourmet smore
-have a chance to sign up for a short massage from a professional massage therapist!
Youth: Bring 15+ SWAPS to swap with fellow bridging Juniors from all over Northern California. Fun patch included.
Limited spots are available for archery*. Accepting both youth and adults. Please note: to participate in archery you will need to arrive early OR exchange the session for the crafts AND scavenger hunt sessions. *(Archery sessions are now full! Updated: 3/9/23)
