Strategic Research and Advisory Team (SRAT): Field Researchers
March 8, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm PST
An event every month that begins at 6:30 pm on day Second of the month, repeating until March 8, 2022
What does it mean to be a Girl Scout today? What do older Girl Scouts think is most important to do to support youth mental health and work for social justice? What should the council, Girl Scouts, and adults do to create Girl Scout programs that are meaningful and relevant for older youth? We need you to make your voice heard!
Girl Scouts in grades 8-12 can join our Strategic Research Advisory Team (SRAT) as field researchers to discover the answers to these questions, and more. As a member of this team, you will:
*Create open and welcoming spaces for youth to share their experiences and hopes for Girl Scouts
*Make sure voices of youth in your community are heard
*Ask questions and collect data directly from other girls in Girl Scouts *Help analyze data you and others collect, and make recommendations about the future of Girl Scouts
In addition to making the world (and Girl Scouts!) a better place, you will be able to grow your leadership, public speaking, advocacy, and research methods skills.
