Learn everything you need to go backpacking in the California wilderness Ñ gear and equipment, safety, cooking outdoors, and more! Join us on various backpacking adventures throughout Northern California. No equipment? No problem! Equipment is available for loan, including: backpacks, cooking gear, and shelters! Please Note:Badges are not included, but every level will earn at least a few badge steps toward their outdoor Journey. North Coast Backpacking group will meet the first Wednesday of each month 7-8pm. Meeting dates: 10/7, 11/4, 12/2, 1/6, 2/3, 3/3, 4/7, 5/5.
