Martial Cottle Park Harvest Festival Take Action

October 5 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm PDT

Free

Calling all Girl Scout Citizen Scientists! GSNorCal has an amazing opportunity to engage with over 10,000 community members and we want you and your girl to take part:
WHAT: 8th Annual Martial Cottle Park Festival We will host a booth at the event to build community awareness about Girl Scouts, recruit new local troop leaders, and offer a Citizen Scientist Take Action activity to festival attendees.
WHEN: Saturday, October 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHERE: Martial Cottle Park
WHO: This is a great “parent-and-me” event, allowing our girls to lead youth activities while parents share with the community what Girl Scouting offers and how it has benefited their girls. Our wonderful council staff, Lauren Uda and Alyssa Tran, will also be there to support us.
HOW TO REGISTER: Register for FREE on CheddarUp. We will ask for your name, Girl Scout level, your vote on our table activity, and for you and your parent to sign up for a one-hour booth shift. The girls will earn and receive their free Take Action badge from their service unit after their booth shift.
Here are the Take Action Projects the girls will vote on:
The Lost Lady Bug Project
Project Squirrel
I See Change
Protecting Pollinators: Mason Bee Houses
We encourage you to enjoy the rest of this wonderful festival either before or after the event!
