Junior Journey in a Day-Think Like a Citizen Scientist

Earn a whole Journey in a Day! Juniors, join us at Bothin as we learn what it means to be a true scientist and investigate the world around us. They’ll be participating in a series of games, activities, and discussions all focused around helping them hone their curious minds and apply the scientific method in every day life. While they will receive the badge on site, our program will not include the Take Action portion of the Journey, which girls will have to do on their own, either with the troop or with families. One meal will be provided, as well as a snack. Please be sure to note all dietary restrictions when registering. All materials will be provided, but please bring a notebook and a pencil or pen, as well as a water bottle. Masks are required. Be sure to wear closed toed shoes that can stand a bit of mud!

This GSNorCal in-person event will require participants (including chaperones) to provide proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event. Home tests will not be accepted. For resources on finding free COVID tests, click here.
