Title: The Power of Advocacy Los Encinos State Historic Park

Description: Join us for this special Girl Scouts Love State Parks virtual fieldtrip. Los Encinos State Historic Park would not exist today if not for the efforts of one woman, Maria Stewart. Join us as we tell the story of her campaign to preserve and share Los Encinos SHP for public enrichment and enjoyment. During this program we will discuss the rapid urbanization of the San Fernando Valley and Encino during the post World War II era and highlight the positive impact that dedicated individuals can have on their community.
