Girl Scouts Love State Parks: Mt. Diablo State Park

Mount Diablo is home to an amazing variety of life. We will explore the biodiversity of the mountain by exploring at least two habitats on a short hike. After a break for lunch, we’ll rotate through stations to take a closer look at some of the fascinating creatures found here and make a journal for girls to record their observations and memories of their visit. Planned stations: tarantulas the gentle giants, mammal hides and skulls, journal making craft and observation time.
