DHL Supply Chain Pilot Patch Program

This is a completely new, completely free, program that you will have the first opportunity to participate and give feedback in! During this program, Girl Scouts will participate in fun, hands-on activities introducing Girl Scouts to the field of logistics.

The number of women in supply chain management careers grows steadily each year, though men still make up the vast majority. DHL is looking to decrease that gap by shining a light on women in these important and fulfilling careers. Every Girl Scout who participates will earn a DHL Patch! Girl Scouts that earn this patch will build confidence in the areas of creative problem solving, build a better understanding of how to do things efficiently, and find ways to connect their unique skillsets to the field of logistics. 

Date and Time: Saturday, October 12, from 9:00-2:00

Location: DHL Warehouse in Livermore, California

For: Girl Scouts of the Junior, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador levels

Program Includes: Snacks, lunch, in-person instruction, all needed materials, a fun patch, and a chance to provide feedback on a brand new, nationwide program to GSUSA

Please note: Lunch and snacks will be provided. Girl Scouts must wear shoes that completely cover their feet and long pants. Please also note that Girl Scouts and volunteers may not use their cell phones during the program. Our program partners at DHL will be needing support from volunteers, therefore, all adults who sign up must be registered Girl Scout volunteers who will assist the program facilitators as needed!
