Daisy Model Car Racers with Bay Area Discovery Museum

Calling all racers to the track! Girls will use household materials to design a custom car body, wheels and axles. After designing your creation, test your fast machine on a series of surfaces and experiment with adding weights and other elements to improve the way the car performs and learn how variables such as friction affect the car.
Please note: Girls will earn the Mechanical Engineering Badge 3: Model Car Design Challenge, not included.
