Creative Cooking- Ravioli from scratch

Looking for a great new recipe?! Join us for a session where we will learn to cook a simple dinner that can easily be modified to be allergy-friendly and vegan. We will be making a traditional Italian dish- Ravioli! While we are cooking we will learn the basics of preparing meals for others and brainstorm other recipes participants can create for friends and family. Supplies are not included, but participants will receive a fun patch in the mail.

Please Note: Supplies are not included. Adult supervision required.

Kitchen Supplies Needed:

– Cutting Board or Large Flat Clean Surface

– Measuring Cups and Measuring Spoons

– Fork

– Cling Wrap/ Plastic Wrap

– Skillet/Pan

– Pot to boil water

– Heat Safe Cooking Spoon

– Rolling Pin or something cylindrical to roll dough (i.e. Wine bottle)

– Knife for cutting dough

– Access to a sink for water & frequent hand washing

Recipe Ingredients:


  • 1 and ¼ Cups of Flour, bring a little extra for adding to your surfaces
  • 2 Eggs
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon

Ravioli Filling:

  • Spinach (about 9oz or 250 grams)
  • Ricotta (about 5oz or 150 grams)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste


  • Olive Oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Basil Leaves (about 6-8)
  • Parmesan Cheese
