Child and Babysitting Safety Certification

Saturday, May 14th 9am-3pm
$40 per person (bring sack lunch)
This Babysitter Training Course provides the skills and confidence needed to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. Through hands-on activities, interactive videos, and lively discussions. The course teaches young people how to:
-How to care for children and infants
-Be good leaders and role models
-Best practices for safe and successful babysitting
-Make good decisions and solve problems
-How to handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses, and household accidents, including CPR and First Aid techniques.

This event is open to Girl Scout Cadettes and Seniors. Participants will receive ASHI Babysitting Certification and be instructed in CPR and First Aid techniques.

Attending this course fulfills requirements for the Cadette Babysitter and First Aid Badges (Badges are not included).
