Basic Program Aide Training- San Jose

All Girl Scouts 6th grade and above are invited to attend Basic Program Aide training on their way to completing the steps of the Program Aide Award. Basic PA Training involves learning to lead youth in a variety of situations and learn the essentials for planning programs of their own! This training will prepare you for real life situations working with younger Girl Scouts for troop events, day camps, and council or service unit events.

Please Note: This is an overnight (1 night) and drop-off program. Adults who register are required to be background screened and will be asked to support with volunteer tasks throughout the event.

Sleeping Arrangements will be sleeping on the floor. Please bring a Sleeping Mat, Sleeping Bag, Pillow and other items for your comfort.

For Girl Scouts grades 6-12 ~ min 8/max 15 and Adult Volunteers ~ min 2/max 5

Fee: $85 per GSNorCal Youth Member*, $0 per Adult Volunteer

Program Fee Includes: Saturday afternoon snacks and outdoor cooking dinner and dessert, Sunday breakfast and morning snacks. Youth participants will also receive a kit with basic Program Aide supplies.
