All Girl Scouts 6th grade and above are invited to attend Basic Program Aide training on their way to completing the steps of the Program Aide Award. Basic PA Training involves learning to lead youth in a variety of situations and learn the essentials for planning programs of their own! Participants will put their new skills to the test with a group of younger children where they will get the opportunity to lead some activities. This training will prepare you for real life situations working with younger Girl Scouts for troop events, day camps, and council or service unit events. Participants are asked to bring a tent. If coming with a group, you will need 1 tent per 2-3 participants.
Please Note: Financial Aid is available to GSNorCal Girl Members for this program. You will have the option to request FA during the registration process. Meals Included: Afternoon snack & dinner on Saturday and breakfast, morning snack, lunch, & afternoon snacks on Sunday will be provided.
Important Notice: This GSNorCal in-person event will require participants (including chaperones) to provide proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of an event.
