Join us for a fun-filled afternoon where Girl Scout troops will transform our space into a vibrant international marketplace. Each station will showcase a different country, sharing its culture, traditions, and the lives of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts who live there.
This event offering is specially designed for travelers – Daisy troops and new Girl Scout troops of all ages! Instead of hosting your own country display, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to just explore!
What to expect:
- Global Exploration: “Travel” from country to country, visiting beautifully decorated display tables filled with fascinating information, photos, and artifacts.
- Cultural Exchange: Learn about different cultures through interactive games, delicious food samples, and engaging presentations.
- Swap & Share: Collect unique “swaps” (small handmade gifts) from each country, a cherished Girl Scout tradition.
- International Fun: Experience the joy of connecting with Girl Scouts around the world, all in one place!
- No Research Required! This is the perfect introduction to World Thinking Day for new troops. Simply come and enjoy the adventure without the pressure of preparing a display.
