World Thinking Day is the Celebration of the Girl Guides and Girls Scouts in 152 Countries around the world.

Step 1: Have the girls in your troop choose a county on the WAGGS list! Pick your top 3 choices. We don’t want duplicates. You will need this information to register. You will be notified with your assigned country. NOTE: Daisies may be travelers only (visit countries without having a display).
Step 2: Research your country & prepare your display: Include general info (population, language, capitol, currency, etc.) and info about Girl Scouts / Guides in that country.
Step 3: Activities / Food / Swaps: Choose at least one activity related to your country (song, game, or craft). Bring one food Item specific to your country (small sample size). Bring SWAPS that represent your country for your troop to pass out. Plan on 75-100. Decorations and costumes are optional but are fun.
What to bring: Table & Tablecloth, your presentation/decorations, flag for opening ceremony (can be homemade from any material), SWAPS, Food, Activity. Sticker or Stamp and Inkpad to mark passport of each traveler.
This is a troop event, adult/girl ratios must be met. All attendees must be registered Girl Scouts. Adults must be volunteer screened. Leaders bring Event Permission, Annual Permission, and Health History forms.
