Lead the Way Planning Committee

We know you have what it takes to lead the way! Join this super-charged Girl Scout-led event planning committee for the 2023 Lead the Way conference. Plan the event from start to finish by designing the theme, coordinating the activities, and recruiting professional presenters. Participating in the planning committee is a great way to develop leadership skills, make new friends, create an event that will directly serve you and your peers, and incorporate a unique experience into your resume.

September 14th, 2022 ~  7:00pm to 8:30pm PST

Important Notice: This GSNorCal in-person event will require participants (including chaperones) to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Please Note:  Meeting dates and times (meets the second Wednesday of the month, and twice in January):

• 09/14/2022 from 7:00pm-8:30pm
• 10/12/2022 from 7:00pm-8:30pm
• 11/09/2022 from 7:00pm-8:30pm
• 12/14/2022 from 7:00pm-8:30pm
• 01/11/2023 from 7:00pm-8:30pm
• 01/25/2023 from 7:00pm-8:30pm
• To be determined – possible weekend meeting before event

For girls grades 9-12 ~ min 10/max 58

Fee: $0 per GSNorCal girl member, $5 per Out-of-Council girl member

Location: San Jose Girl Scout Office (with the possibility of some Zoom meetings.)
